Save Our Scruff Presents: An Evening for the Scruffs

Tickets Now Available for The Save Our Scruff Social 

Save Our Scruff will be hosting The Scruff Social: An Evening For the Scruffs, at Purina PawsWay on Saturday March 25, 2017.  It will be a special evening dedicated to celebrating and recognizing both the scruffs who have found their homes, and those who helped them get there. This will also be an opportunity to show support for those scruffs still in need. With cocktails and canapés, live entertainment and more, be sure to get yourself to the groomers, brush off your cuffs, and get your tickets for The Scruff Social, in support of Save Our Scruff. Cocktails commence at 8pm.

Save Our Scruff is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, dedicated to finding homes for dogs in need. All proceeds from this event will go towards veterinary care, transportation, training, and advocacy work

Individual tickets start at $85

Doga at PawsWay

DOGA - Nov

Saturday January 28, 2017 at 11:30AM – 12:30PM – DOGA is now FULL! 

Start off 2017 right with Doga at PawsWay!

Take a deep breath and get into downward dog pose… with your dog! We are excited to welcome back DOGA, a special yoga class that can be done with your best bud by your side. Come down to Purina PawsWay and learn how to incorporate your dog into your yoga practice! Discover the many benefits that both you and your dog get from practicing together.

Bring your mat, some water and a non-retractable leash.

Cost: $5+HST (per human participant)

Space is limited, to avoid disappointment we encourage to book your spot in advance. Bookings can be made via. email in advance, with payment made at the PawShop on day of event.

Off Leash Safety Course

Off Leash Safety Course

Purina PawsWay is excited to offer the Off Leash Safety Course on two separate occasions this January. Join us on either Saturday January 8, 2017 or Sunday January 22, 2017 at 1PM to learn everything you need to know to keep your dog safe in an off leash environment whether at PawsWay or outside. Discover invaluable tips on canine body language and how to ensure a safe, responsible, and fun environment for you and your dog.

This course is mandatory for visitors who attend Purina PawsWay drop in off leash programming, but is open to anyone interested in learning about safe play. 

Cost: $10 +HST per family

Puppy Kindergarten Class

Two New Sessions:

Wednesday, January 11th (6pm-7pm) & Saturday, January 14th (10am-11am)

This 4-week course is a fun and interactive way to introduce puppies and owners to basic training. Puppies need to learn our language so they can grow up to be happy, well-adjusted family members. Starting early with fun and rewarding positive motivational training helps teach the behavior we want before bad habits have a chance to form.

K9 Manners Level One – New Session!

Next session starts Wednesday, January 11th (7pm-8pm)

This 5-week course is designed to teach your canine companion basic manners and obedience skills such as heeling with a loose leash, sit, down, stay, come and recall. All skills will be taught using positive reinforcement. Each class includes the opportunity to ask our expert trainer questions, and the curriculum is flexible to ensure all teams are successful.
